Sumo Records are pleased to announce the release of their first single “Back on Top”.
Produced by Bristolian duo FatFinger and featuring vocals from the rap-matic Noodlez, this floor-filler is guaranteed to be booming out of a speaker stack near you soon.
A-side “Back on Top” is a captivating aural assault, sounding like an ultimate-death-match between the Freestylers, Daft Punk and SKISM, while Noodlez’ vocals hold it all together like the cement in a superglue factory. With more chops than a lumberjacks’ karate convention, B- side “Something for Them” is a full frontal bass invasion, destined to keep heads rollin’ on dancefloors nationwide. With parts of the track available from the website under Creative Commons licence, “Back on Top” is set to mutate beyond recognition as other producers warp, twist and generally violate the track to suit their own styles.

With roots in reggae and Dub, Tru-Steppa's manifesto aims to tear up dance-floors worldwide with the Reggae/HIp Hop fusion that is Bait Riddim.  This groove fueled sensory invasion is certain to feature at sound-systems on global proportions and comes with a comprehensive 'no hearing back' guarantee. From the get go Bait Riddim signals itself as a effect mashing sub fueled bass invasion that drags the listener, willing or not, into a never-ending pit of chop filled fury that leaves you questioning whether your ears require an upgrade.
