It is with Bukowski’s words that Canary Islands native and Mumbai Records founder Alex Medina shapes an evocative first look into a conceptual turmoil. He conjures the distant phantoms of a bygone era through a particular recognizable motif and sparse syncopated elements. Marking points of no return, the abrupt changes underline the unease felt before the process of revitalization can take place by way of new encounters and experiences. Nevertheless, unrest is 
unavoidable as the cycle perpetuates. The emptiness remains.

After having taught himself to play the drums and the guitar in his younger years, Marc went on to gather experiences by joining several Live Bands; however, as he was the son of a passionate music collector and former DJ, it was just a matter of time that he found his way into the DJ booth. Thanks to the Italo Disco- and Hip Hop-Collection of his father, his first practice lessons blossomed into a strong fascination for vinyl which has not gone extinct until today.With the decision to move on to playing with software and therefore to be more mobile, the 16-year-old soon was able to gain a reputation as a newcomer on a illegal outdoor raves throughout Kiel. When attaining the legal age, he started his residency at Luna Club where he has not only been able to shape his sound but has also invited and supported several guests such as Roman Flügel, Marcus Worgull, The Drifter, Âme and Robag Wruhme to name a few. 2015 was the year he founded his label Empore Music together with other local artists in the rather culturally bare North of Germany. The label, which has not dedicated itself to any disctinct sound but defines itself through the quality of every single release, seems to be a perfect display of thesound Marc represents in his DJ sets. Of emotional melodic pieces over classic disco tracks up to technoid tracks or ambient noises –just not according to the book (?). The only common grounds are quality and the depth of the music. With every single set, Marc manages to bring an imaginary venue into being for the listener where emotions find their place as well as the freedom to feel them and the attendees themselves. Because of his extensive musical knowledge and his experiences behind the decks, the sole tracks melt together into a fluent, never ending mix that opens a new level between mere rave and listening character.

Named after the Egyptian crocodile god, it’s not only his name that has everyone talking. For the last three years Sobek has been crafting a unique sound within the realms of House and Techno. Whether it be deconstructing glossy polished originals with his unrivalled remixing talent, or days spent in the studio creating innovative and thought provoking original music across many sub genres, his sound simple has no boundaries.

With releases on credible imprints such as Monaberry, Chapter 24, TAU, Moblack and Borders Of Light along with sought after remixes on Stil vor Talent, Get Physical, Needwant, Sobek has picked up support from some of the biggest names on the scene including Pete Tong, Adam Port, Black Coffee, Dixon and Adana Twins.

With a growing reputation for being a renowned DJ and record collector, Sobek has graced the decks at some of the worlds best clubs including Heart Ibiza, Faust Paris or D-EDGE. He also runs his own party series in his home city of Budapest, which has welcomed the likes of Tunnelvisions. David Mayer, Toto Chiavetta and The Drifter alongside many other great artists to the Hungarian capital.

Dario Dea is an Italian DJ and producer based in London. With releases on Secret Fusion, Nein Records, Paradiso Records and many others, Dario's sound ranges from groovy Indie Dance to more club-oriented melodic house.
