Sun Catchers

Just like "Analog Funk", the foundation of this song was developed by Impulse, who supplied some of sounds through the Arcade plugin. These particular tracks were later condensed into a single .m4a file, a process that took multiple attempts to complete. This alleviated the need to download the Arcade plugin onto my computer but also came at the expense of restricted control over individual instrument parameters. Granted, this was a sacrifice we willingly made.

I asked Impulse to record Digital Funk at a slightly faster tempo than Analog Funk to reflect the hurried nature of the digital world. On my end, I restructured some chord changes and section durations and carved out brand new passages for more variety.

Impulse: synth and bass programming, samples, songwriting, arrangement

Sinny: synth, bass, and rhythm programming, nose whistle, kalimba, Wavedrum, octo-snare cajon, djembe, talking drum, tambourine, maracas, jam block, samples, arrangement

This is my first try to compose a song with lyrics in my native language (german). 

It is about chasing a dream. Split in two parts. 
part one tries to describe how dreams invade us. chemical neuronal.
part two tries to capture a dream to keep it in memory.

The song is based on a complex melody model in which two different main parts exist in different keys. To add to the transition, I had to go back a long way and string a lot of chords together.

Set back and Let this flow come onto ya ...                                                                        It all began as an impromptu evening visit and morphed into a wonderful evening of musical magic...   
We recorded our Musical Conversations in Tim Elliot's living room with only one middling Microphone an Upright Piano and his Guitar suite, and I'm so glad we did!

Composer/Guitarist @davidjsvensson freely commented, "If the rest of the piece is even close to what the first two minutes were, then this is a masterpiece!!"  

So glad to share the results of this intimate honest and organic Live Jam with you all. I must say that i am looking forward to more such interactions with Tim. And i gotta say, 'Magic is Magic', however much Better one imagines it could have been.  :-D

It All Comes Together

3 piece rock band, family group: 

Michele Candrina (bass, vocals)
Stefano Candrina (drums, seldom vocals)
Susanna Comincioli (guitar, vocals).

Michele being the all around manager (and the one who writes here XD).

Our style guidelines:
- everything recorded at home with no professional help
- try to keep a live feeling

We have daytime jobs, we make music as a hobby and do not plan otherwise. We record everything by ourselves at our home studio with little equipment.

We're proudly based on soundcloud as this platform is really helping spontaneous artistry to develope, take shape and hopefully slowly get to the ouside world. Keep going fellow soundclouders!

The band started in 2013 out of friendship, love of music and as a new adventure. At that time none of us had much knowledge as about how to play the instrument, let alone how to record a track. 

Fast forward ten years and we're still naive and constantly improving the quality of the product with new musical and technical ideas.
