The name "Capriccio" means that the original ideas 、musical patterns、chords that I came across were treated in a free way in this piece.

It is not a traditional concerto form composed of 3 movements. I tried to write the piece in 2 movements to construct a symmetrical structure. Like the Yin/Yang symbol in the ancient Chinese philosophy, the 2 movements interacts each other, contrasted but referential. They shape a mercurial macrocosm.
The inner coherence of the materials is based on the same concept. Although there are no certain rules for the ideas and chord to be used or repeated, but they are both in 3 part forms. The first movement stands for the Yin part, and the second movement stands for the Yang part. Emotionally, Yin part is clam and quiet, and Yang part is active and aggressive. The piano acts as an invisible line which connects these materials, and through the harmonics, the piano sound and the orchestra sound are melted to create a colorful but transparent sound world. As the symbol, Yin embraces Yang , on the other hand, Yang embraces Yin. These 2 movements can be outlined as the following:

I like to write any style of music. Recently I focus more on writing songs and piano music.
To be a musician and share the music that touches me with people all around the world is an exciting thing. I like to write music and has it performed and recorded. 
As the art director of a  performing group named "Sotto Voce Music",sometimes I have to rearrange some popular songs for the group members to perform outdoor concerts for the andiance. Sometimes I write original music composition and had it performed in the concert halls. Sometimes I teach music.
