Sol Selectas welcomes back Polish artist Raidho with a fresh 3 song EP, including remixes from Ameme & NenaHalena, LUM, and West & Hill.

The lead song “Jaguar Dance” is a deep interpretation of a Detroit Techno classic. With a long emotional intro, beautiful drum programming and key work which take influence from the original, combined with superb musicianship from collaborator T.Etno, this song is already an instant hit.

On the remix we have production duo Ameme and NenaHalena, who warp the original into a powerful Afro House jam. The off kilter percussion, synth stabs, and long extended breakdown whirls the crowd into an absolute frenzy.

“Whispers” is a mid tempo groover, with notes of tropical percussion, ancestral chants, and ethereal vocals swirling in and out. West & Hill is new on the label, and takes the original into even deeper house territory, adding lush piano keys, guitar licks, and uplifting pads.

“Slow Life” brings down the tempo with rich tabla percussion, a groovy bass line ,and moody synth work. Our dear friend LUM offers two remixes of “Slow Life”, the first one takes us into minimal tech, reminiscent of classic Luciano, with deep grooves, vocal stabs, and tribal percussion. The final interpretation is for those After hours moments, where reality and dreams fuse into one consciousness. Spiritual flutes and liquid bass notes pulse in and out taking the listener to new dimensions.

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us on a journey through the heart of the jungle, in its chaotic, yet so organized, state of being.

The Teddy Bear Lounge swings open its metaphorical doors with a first Chapter of the Unfinished Project from ITAI entitled Re-Birth. The unfinished project is a musical series that includes his take on sound from the past year. It isn’t just music, it includes a unique art piece by the artist Hillel Zehnwirth released with each track telling the story of this journey. It also comes out with a visual presentation describing the artistic process of the creation of the music, the art, and the relationship between them. 

ITAI is a world traveler, multi instrumentalist, live artist, and producer who brings global cultures, electronic styles and live skills to his work as well as influences form his childhood in the Middle East. He has climbed high in the Beatport charts with previous releases and released on the likes of Talavera, Abracadabra and more. 

He says of this latest project, "The overall feel is like antique structures and ruins in Greece or Berlin present in nature rather than the city , incorporating both modern and organic elements. The music is open and evolving and has a sunset moving into night type sound, evoking a sense of being in the moment and present in the music. The live version of the “Unfinished Project” project will not have a fixed structure, with live elements like Sax, EWI Piano & more each track sounding different every time it's played live at moments fully improvised." 

Re-Birth (Aka The Pain) is a tripped out synth soundscape with Middle Eastern-style mystic leads hypnotising next to tender piano chords as muffled sounds and voices add atmosphere. A warm mid tempo house groove eventually arrives underneath to lock you in further. It is a song that tells a tale of transformation and new beginnings. The sound of a baby's cry is heard literally in the song, signifying the start of a new life. 

Down By The River is a special track that sneaks up on you slowly with its cinematic sound that resembles a river. It features an EWI flute sound that gives it a village-like feel. It is a superb slow and seductive eight minute deep and dubbed out house crawler. The bass is rich, the chords full of suspense and plenty of smart fills, flutes, heartbroken keys and more flesh things out in majestic style. 

This is a unique new series from a label that is sure to become one to watch.

We're thrilled to share our brand new release by Karmaâ titled 'Yaakaar' feat. Midilink, Leo Kamisa, incl. remixes by Monblaire, Tal Tobi. 

This EP is a unique creation that brings together the sounds of traditional African instruments with the electronic music approach. One of the key aspects of Karmaà's EP is its ability to transport the listener to a different place and time. The use of traditional instruments and vocals creates a sense of being transported to the heart of the continent, while the electronic elements adds a blissful and mystical touch. This lovely package is full of strong sense of rhythm and groove, making it perfect for dancing and getting lost in the realms of sound and frequencies. Karmaâ, Midilink - Houssaï [Camel Riders]

I'm happy to be part of " The Revenge of The Flowers" mix series. This mix is special as it is coming right after my first offering to Shango Records, the release of my EP "Grace". Which really influenced the creation of this journey, by carefully selecting the music that resonates with my feelings after the release of the EP. Which finally evolved to this 60 minutes story. I hope i was able to tell Shango audience a chapter of my story
