Jorge Caiado and Paul Cut return for another round after their 2020 collaboration on Caiado’s Time & Space LP. Those familiar with the two will know the order of the day: immaculately produced and deeply-felt house music that marries a studio master’s subtlety with a live musician’s flair. Each of these tracks bursts with the essence of soulful house and its jazz forebears, traversing moods that are by turns wistful, playful and go-getting. Cut’s solos on the keys — which recently graced Larry Heard’s latest LP — provide the loose counterpoint to Caiado’s tight production. Inner Balance softly strikes again.

Romanian collective ABC / Always Bring Cash returns with a new vinyl only series.

After multiple standouts, that is their own release on their digital only imprint, their numerous outstanding parties including their own precision tuned Void soundsystem, or their appearances on other labels, the ABC crew continues its journey with new projects for 2023.

Only a few weeks since the year began and they're already giving us the best news. ABC launches a new vinyl-only series, starting with two of their bomb producers: Bread & Butter and Sandru. I have always found back to back sets to be incredibly enjoyable and quite enriching musically. Hearing how different people's taste fit in and around my own, and finding a common middle ground to create an experience that is greater than the sum of it's parts.

I wanted a way to be able to present some of my favourite b2b sets and so I have come up with (the incredibly well-thought-out) KEMCAST.
