a friend suggested using a sparse sixteenth pattern rhythm on a synth voice for another song of mine and when I sat down to do that, it turned into this instead.

it's pretty long, i am not sure if the dynamics come through very well, but hopefully it's relaxing and groovy!

Barebones

this is a clip I stumbled across from sometime in the last few years, I was composing music for a video game my friend was making but we couldn't use wav or mp3 because the video game was for a computer where you had to program music on a chip (YM2151, to be exact), so this mp3 represents a goal I was working towards.  I don't remember what I used to make this, it sounds like my hardware rig but the specific configuration is lost to time.

unfortunately, i never transposed it to bytecode, so this is all that remains
