In the first movement, I use some aleatoric elements over repeated percussive patterns that draw on influences from some popular electronic musics.These passages are contrasted with jazz-influenced writing.The second movement is the most traditional and lyrical.The third ‘brings everything together uncomfortably’.

Based on a 12-note series, this set of variations on a repeated ground explores harmonics and resonances on the guitar, particularly beat frequencies resulting from the combination of 'just' harmonics and equal-tempered versions of a similar pitch.
