Palm Paradise is a radio show hosted by Goldie Palm. It's filled with various influences from different genres of electronic music. Get ready for a vibeful journey from Indie Dance and House to Disco beats or let yourself drift away in the waves of Electro and Trance vibes every now and then.

For quite a while now Goldie Palm also invites friends & up and coming artists to her Paradise for special guest shows.

This month I invited @aroma-plus daddy @daniel-hauser from Jena. He describes this mix as follows: 'It has become a little vinyl journey to my roots, in which I dug the 90s house nuggets out of my record cabinet. It's a bit older house stuff and a few classics. Sounds fresh as dew, at least to me. Have fun with it.'

F.D.M is known as one of the most respected djs/selectors in Leipzig Germany with a preference of Afro sound, Disco & Deep House Grooves, having played countless of international gigs at places such as Paris, Berlin, New York, Barcelona... and many more.

He's one of the co-founders of "My Grooves" and is also a part of Leipzig’s label "Ors", "Old New Records", "Vaertism" and "blaq numbers", where he released some tracks over the last years.

Once a month, sweatFM offers music curated by the two sweatheads Edwin and Miro. The music is mostly cross-genre and can sometimes come with or without a club context. In addition, the two will now and then invite DJ friends or present their shows under a certain motto. Time to sweat!

ZENA MIXSERIES NO. 113 - Goldie Plam

Goldie Palm has always been a big fan of music - while listening and dancing at home, in clubs or at concerts and she’s having a hidden passion for singing. Early 2019 she started mixing tracks just for fun and quickly became pretty passionate about it. Since November 2020 she's hosting a radio show called Palm Paradise, which is regularly broadcasted by RBL Berlin. About two years ago she fell in love with Leipzig, said bye to Berlin and shortly after became a member of Vacanza Leipzig e.V. In her sets and on the dance floor she’s serving all the feels, ranging from dreamy to bassy house music up to indie dance, synth-wave and other sweet pearls of electronic music by constantly ending  in full high energy mode. Basically on a mission to make some hearts glow, 'cause 'the music’s no good without you baby' and it's more fun if we dance together.

"My attitude towards gender (in)equality in club culture & electronic music has changed a lot since I moved from Berlin to Leipzig two years ago. There’s a lot of support within the scene, especially between flinta* artists and this is a big blessing and something that really keeps me moving. In the beginnings I often had the feeling of just getting booked, mainly by male promoters, to fill some kind of missing „female gap“ in a line up and being quite replaceable like it wasn’t really about me or the music I was playing. Over the past two years a lot has changed and I would say awareness towards inequality got bigger, but I can mainly talk about the experiences I made in Leipzig and surroundings and there are still situations that teach me different from time to time. I would say it’s generally hard to prove yourself to promoters as relatively new and autonomous Dj without an agency."
