FLOX - Find Some Joy

"We were at Bestival on the Isle of Wight two years ago and our dressing room happened to be next The Pharcyde. Over an incident involving red bull being hurled out of our dressing room due to corporate shenanigans, we quickly made friends with The Pharcyde and thought it would be great to make a track together. 

After recording 'Baby Bye Bye', we mixed lots of different sections together from the multitrack using filters and equalizer's, in order to obtain different sounds. Some parts were just drums and bass, organ and drums, backing vocal and guitar etc... We then cut all the bits of tape together, using a razor blade and sticky tape to create a collage in sounds. We then sent this to SlimKid3 from the Pharcyde who wrote verse and recorded it over the top. This is the result! Enjoy!"
