Following an impressive year at Westival 2018, we at Dance Discover returned to the Welsh coast. An incredible line up including the likes of Jamie Tiller, Orpheu the Wizard, Peach and Masalo was something we couldn't miss. 

In spirit of that, we brought our cameras down to film some of the most eclectic sets we've heard. Marcellus Pittman @marcellus-pittman offered a genre breaking mix, waving in and out of disco, house and techno with a soulful undercurrent.

So a few months ago I managed to get my hands on an original, mint condition Urei 1620 mixer. Unbelievable! If you don't know the history of these, check them out. Amazing sound - the godfather of all DJ mixers pretty much!

Anyway, I decided to mess around and put a mixtape together using strictly vinyl, and an external Pioneer EFX1000 unit. 

It's definitely rough around the edges (no post editing in the studio!), but I hope you catch a vibe from it.... I had fun(k) putting it together.
