Massimo Logli steps up to his own Superba Records label with a fantastic new nine track album, Through My Barricades. It is a deep exploration of the Italian's well formed house and techno sound, and the title represents a wonderful period of his life in the Eighties where he felt his most passion with human relations and more.
Logli has been at the sharp end of the scene for decades. He has had key DJ residencies, releases on vital labels like Blackboard and Fragrant Music, and topped digital charts many times over with his unique fusion of melodic deep house and techno. This new album is his finest musical statement yet.
Love In The Sky opens up with a scintillating groover that is awash with lush melody and uplifting chords. As I Am is a deep and heady groove, with chunky drums and more astral synth work, then Clouds continues to build the vibe with sleek and futuristic house sounding well designed progressive melodies, that send shivers down your spine. Let Me Get You has a darker vibe, with stripped back drums and crunchy hits making for heads down back room dancing.
The album rolls on with Our Destiny, which has keys ranging down the face of the polished metal drum sounds and a feeling of real optimism. Albali is a dramatic track with pixelated leads extending to the heavens, and Sirio then gets you in a trance with its euphoric chords and heavy drums. Shake is a soothing sound, with gorgeous keys and sci-fi ambience cleansing your brain, before closer Chasing Star ends on a high with big, bright chord stabs that will get your hands in the air.

"RoBoTRoNik graces us with a multidisciplinary melodic odyssey for his debut on our 42nd release. Based in Piraeus, Greece, Nikolaos Tsarouchis conceives a journey of sonic adventures narrated in four original cuts that abundantly reflect the melodic complexity of his musical persona and two remixes signed by Marcus Sur and Shamans, respectively.  The journey opens with "Stardust In The Air", a dance floor weapon: groovy and melodic. Its main melody is catchy and progresses the track little by little, accompanied by percussions that complement it effectively. Following, "In A Parallel Universe" brings an interesting contrast promoting a low frequency ambiance that generates harmony through melodies and progressiveness.  "The Answer" is a profound and heavenly composition, formulated from beautiful chord progressions and hypnotic vocal clippings, which converge in the ability to generate a delicately hallucinating state of mind. On "One Last Prayer," a synth soars with a magnetic arpeggio style that dominates the entire track, while melodies, pads and bass lines blossom as the track develops into an emotional, electrifying composition — which has earned two remixes.  German Marcus Sur reworks the track with a slightly distorted hook, adding percussive elements and playing with other elements of the original, which resulted in a punchy and delightful version.  For its interpretation, the Mexican producer Shamans proposes a darker reinterpretation, which with some rhythmic breaks, vocal alterations and the addition of kicks that run through the composition marking it, the emotions do not stop surprising us in the last track, which gains strength when the melody main enters."

Giuliano Rodrigues is a renowned Brazilian DJ and music producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Dub Techno genre. Born with an innate passion for music, Giuliano channeled his talent and creativity to craft a unique and captivating sound that deeply resonates with genre enthusiasts.

In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, @flowingmovementmusic. Through this label, he not only promoted his own music but also elevated the profile of numerous other artists within the genre. His commitment to sonic excellence and dedication to cultivating a vibrant community of Dub Techno producers and fans have solidified his position as a central figure in the music scene.

In 2020, amid the pandemic, he launched DUBGIU, followed by Afterdub in 2023 and @dublucid in 2024—all focused on deep tech, deep house, minimal, and, of course, Dub Techno.

Giuliano has also released tracks on @lucidflow, a label founded by @nadjalind and @helmut-ebritsch, also known as @klartraum. The duo has produced remixes of Giuliano’s tracks, showcasing mutual respect and collaboration within the Dub Techno community. Two of Giuliano’s songs were even played at the iconic Burning Man festival. Giuliano also had the opportunity to remix Klartraum's track Manifestation, which has garnered over 60,000 plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Giuliano was featured on the popular YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, which boasts over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated video, @gentlemantracks selected ten tracks released by Giuliano under DUBGIU and created a one-hour set featuring his music. The channel also added two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists.

Giuliano’s music portfolio extends to @superordinate-music, founded by @naetek. He has collaborated with Nae:Tek on several tracks, demonstrating his versatility and ability to synergize with other artists. Most recently, Giuliano released new music on @piranha-siberia, continuing to contribute fresh and innovative sounds to the Dub Techno scene.

Through these platforms and collaborations, Giuliano Rodrigues continues to solidify his reputation as a prolific and influential figure in Dub Techno, constantly pushing the genre's boundaries and connecting with a global audience.

Currently, with countless remixes, singles, compilations, and his entire body of work focused on Dub Techno, Giuliano has centralized all his releases under one label: DUBLUCID.
