From the undulating half-time meandering of “Cleanse” to the unrelenting, oblique approaches to groove in broken techno of “Focus”, “Burn” and “Give”, all the way into the hyperspeed percussive buzz of “Build”, this EP is a demonstration of the complex sound puzzles within Ilayruni’s music.
