Another oldie from the archives, this one is a 2010 room 2 peak-time masterclass from the now sadly passed away Mike Huckaby. A true Detroit legend.

It's fair to say that Plex putting on house artists was a pretty rare occurrence over the years but when we did have house DJ's play, we did it properly and Mike played an exceptional set that night. The entire line-up was one of the most eclectic and varied we probably ever put on and had I-F play 2 headline sets (one as Beverly Hills 808303), Headcleaner delivering a modular live set before most producers even knew what Modular synthesis was, a very early Rival Consoles live set, Al Tourettes, Konx-Om-Pax and ToTheBone Dj's hosting room 2 with Mike, Placid and Plex residents. 

All the recordings from our 4th birthday party sound really great so there will be more to come from this one for sure. Enjoy.

This week Trevor Linde delivers an ecstatic and deep mix for our Podcast Series straight from Prague, Czech Republic.

As a member of the Polygon crew, he's been responsible for 
some stellar events in his hometown from 2013 to 2016, bringing the unheard to the front. More recently, he released a colourful EP on Harmony Records, featuring exceptional compositions and moods that will make your head spin.

In this particular mix, a diverse selection of flow and vibes are thrown at the listener. Trevor delivers a thoroughly thought-out mix, while keeping the attention at all times. Get to it and enjoy this one by Trevor Linde.

A self described “true optimist,” Berlin-based artist Elke radiates high-energy and a keen sense for unearthing cutting-edge releases from all over the globe.

As a staff member of the iconic Hard Wax record store in Kreuzberg, Elke has garnered an  impressive music collection and a knack for impeccable curations that has seen her find favour within the city’s fervent music scene. 

Making regular appearances at the Neukölln cornerstone Griessmuehle, Elke was also a resident at the Grimebox party series which hosted artists such as Darwin, Alinka, Klon Dump, Marc Schneider, Spencer Parker and more.  

With a penchant for playful electro, percussion-locked techno, jungle, and “stone-cold drumfunk”, Elke has also been a regular at About:Blank, & Paloma Bar - often times with Claire Hex as duo Fuzzy Concepts - as well as performing on Noods Radio and most recently HÖR Radio in May this year. 

You can also catch Elke and Claire Hex monthly on their Future Friends show on Radio 80000.
