2014 has been pretty prolific for Leeds maestros, PBR Streetgang. In fact, this will be the third time we've invited them down to the club and the third time we've asked them to contribute to the blog. Delivering a tantalising mix for us earlier this year before providing us with their ultimate (not so) secret weapons back in August, the producers are fast becoming firm favourites. Now, as they prepare to join forces with Seth Troxler, Magda, Craig Richards and co. to see in 2015 - a year that promises to be even more fruitful than the last with a release forthcoming on Futureboogie Recordings - we’ve asked them to once again deliver the goods in a new and exclusive mix to get us amped for the NYE celebrations.

After his recent release "1000" on Snork Enterprises, we present Neil Landstrumm live in our Plattenregal Podcast.

NEIL LANDSTRUMM has released records on a wide variety of electronic musics’ finest labels over the last two decades and is one of the true innovators in techno. Highlights were the recent released Snork1000 release and also include 12”s and LP’s for Peacefrog, Tresor and Planet Mu records and has recently released his tenth career LP, ‘Dragon Under’ on the UK’s Sneaker Social Club label. 2017 has seen a plethora of 12"s including synthwave and italo style tracks on the Giallo Disco and Moustache records from the Clone family in Holland. Other noteworthy collaborations have been with Optimo’s JD Twitch as Doubleheart, Sugar Experiment Station with Tobias Schmidt and Modini with Alan 'Hostage' Parley recently released on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams. Essentially a live hardware-based artist since the beginning of his career, he has toured internationally for the last 20 years with regular events in Europe, Japan and China. Landstrumm also lived in New York for a number of years but is now based back in Edinburgh working from his own Witness Rooms studio. A pioneer of new electronic styles with a strong signature techno sound often copied and imitated, he has always been, and continues to be, a unique electronic artist.

With "Plattenregal Podcast" we normally take a close look at the vinyl record rack of our snorky family and friends. This time it´s  which treasures Mr. Landstrumm hides in his machines... 
So after his recent Snork1000 release on Snork Enterprises, we asked him to compose a set at home out and just play what he is into right now! Nothing else. No specification. No audience. Pure personal style, determined almost exclusively by your personal taste and current mood. That’s what makes it exciting. Each podcast is a close and very personal reflection of the artists or DJ himself,  and we are extremely curious to listen to it!

“The Cat is out of the Bag” is the first solo EP from the mighty Diarmaid O Meara on Lounge Squatt, out now in a limited 12-inch edition. The first track has a bit more fluid sound than Diarmaid's past work - a churning, grubby, club-ready sound that hits your mind immediately. The second track “A Stitch in Time”, is where raw and militant drum sequences are soothed by over by dreamy and dark pads.
The B-side of the record is a fast and rigid remix by Ayako Mori, where she basically show us that she's the sort of artist who knows the rules well enough to break them.
LNS011 is now available on Bandcamp as a preorder and Digital Exclusive.
Out on the 21st December to download on all digital stores.

Unpleasant Texture (Prizm) is a DJ and producer from Warsaw. Together with Vitalis Popoff, he creates the Unpleasant Texture production project, which he currently devotes the most of his time to. Co-founder of the Warsaw Torture Boyz project.
Invariably for years inspired by the British art scene: (Surgeon, Regis), Brighton / Nu Skul Techno (Cristian Vogel, Jamie Lidell, Si Begg, Tobias Schmidt), which translates into his inspiration and the search for his own selection model. Focusing on the in-depth search for lesser known publications, his sets can be synonymous with alternative underground. Prizm has published on international and Polish labels such as Groundzero Teknocamp (DE), Variance (IRL), Nashton Records and DRVMS LTD.
