High school is different for everyone.  I tried to generalize as much as I could, but you get the idea.  I thought it was a beautiful time in ones life, even with the shitty stuff that happens here and there.

Fumbling with my books, I look up, 
and see this girl, 
as she's walking by,
with her friends.  
Oh man she was something else.

Soccer fields on an early Fall day.
Smell of fresh grass, white lines across the green.
Looking back I would never want to get away.

Janitors polishing the floor in the night,
started before basketball practice ended.

Next day, 
getting together with your friends.
The smell of food in the cafeteria. 

Variety night in the gym on a special eve. 
Crickets chiming on a summers night.
We all felt so alive.
