Everyday life is often filled with many small anxieties that we deal with by simply pretending they do not exist.
Sometimes they thicken beyond the horizon of our field of vision, turning into a sense of impending danger, a floating leviathan, an immense bird of prey hiding in the clouds above the skyscrapers ready to grab us. Our only defence is to try to ignore it, hoping that oblivion will slowly devour it, relegating it to another plane of existence.
And sometimes, it is simply like dreaming of suffocating...

The Last Glance at the Past

I wrote this song about Marsha and it is about the daily care of my Mother, and the song represents the daily time she cared for her. After  I took my dying Mother home from the hospital, Marsha volunteered for weeks to help  her, go to God , Bathing changing and giving her her loving. Marsha, you gave her a part of your life to help make her transition, a six week path to God and on the last day she fell asleep in front of us, knowing we were there for her to the end. This song is for you.
