Monochrome presents, 𝖆𝖚𝖙𝖔𝖒𝖓𝖊 𝓥 : Kick21, Sure Thing.


This autumn, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno, Drum & Bass and Tribe.


Artist Biography

Kick21 crafts fluid and frenetic atmospheres, drawing inspiration from techno, trance, IDM and DnB. Moving seamlessly across a spectrum of BPMs, his universe blends diverse styles into a harmonious fusion that instinctively explores the richness of grooves.
His selections weave a curious blend of magnetic and hypnotic ambiences, explored through sets that combine cold, industrial techno rhythms with organic, psychedelic textures. Instinctive and guided by a pursuit of intimacy, his music seeks to unite two worlds: the digital age, where electronic music is mentally shaped and a more primal, visceral form of sound, hence resonating with both mind and body.

The Eternal Injection edit saga lives on, three years after the last offering. As you might have guessed, a huge Björk fan here. This re-imagination was originally crafted towards my live ambient set at Wonderfruit Festival last December 2024, where it may or may not have caused a few spontaneous acts of spiritual levitation.

A second appearance of Tammo Hesselink (@tammohesselink) on the Mantis series. Fusing the spatial effects treatments of dub with the metallic clang of industrial percussion and the stark negative space of minimal, Tammo Hesselink's sonic practice continues to create compelling, complex forms. His exacting style toys with atmospheric processing and mechanised motifs in place of traditional melodic elements, unearthing nuanced expression from timbre and rhythm while delivering firm structures for advanced soundsystem immersion.

Tammo Hesselink - Mantis 16 (DSR/MTS16)

Pure Space presents Cell, the latest EP from Eora (Sydney)-based artist Pannotia - a producer sculpting intricate sonic ecosystems through dense, evolving synthesis. Inspired by microbiological processes, Cell pulses with organic mutation, where rhythm and texture shift like an evolving biocrust.

Written between Gadigal Land (Petersham) and London (2023–2025), the EP reflects a deep fascination with unseen worlds - microbial communities thriving in extreme conditions, reacting to their environments in ways both alien and familiar.

Across four tracks, Pannotia explores a spectrum of tempos and moods, from the swampy and viscous to the clinical and mechanical. The EP opens with the title track Cell, a dense and hypnotic techno cut whose constantly evolving nature keeps you locked in. Life Cycle follows, a track driven by grinding lead synths and steady percussion that propels forward with restless motion. Biozone takes a more organic approach, mirroring ecological systems in constant flux.

Closing out the EP, Tessellate emerges as a doof-ready anthem, featuring the voice of Cyano in her musical debut - delivering a spoken exploration of microscopic landscapes. For good measure, a Dub Mix strips things back while maintaining the energy.

A contemporary snapshot of Pannotia’s sonic evolution, Cell is a dark, trippy, and ever-shifting ecosystem; alive with movement, modulation, and mutation.

KLIKERKLUB is happy to release its new V/A Charity Compilation called "HOME/ ДІМ" — on the 24th of August — The Day of Independence of Ukraine. 

The album is a wild, genre-spanning collection of 45 unreleased tracks by exclusively Ukrainian artists. It aims to reflect the colourfulness and diversity of Ukrainian independent music in times of russia's ongoing war against Ukraine.

Many of the songs on the album reflect on the theme of “HOME/ДІМ” on various emotional levels. They deal with feelings of loss, longing, grief, memory, hope or rediscovery.

KLIKERKLUB would be happy if the album radiates something reminiscent of a warm late summer evening spent with loved ones at the edge of a forest, in the carpathianbs, a wheat field, a swimming lake,or by the sea. Where you lie next to each other, hold each other tight, talk about the past and the future, laugh liberatingly, cry, and dance.

Even if only in your thoughts. Because these thoughts are free. No matter where they are thought or under what circumstances.

The album is dedicated to all those who suffer under russian occupation or captivity and to whom these thoughts give support, strength and courage to resist!
