Steering in a slightly up-tempo but still deep'ish pace, This was a closing for the Catch 428 stage that took place on a Monday morning from 3-5:30 AM (right before sunrise). The stage was powered by Void Acoustics "Incubus Edition'- a truly powerful system.

Undoubtedly, catch 428 throughout the weekend was a special adventure that was shared together on the Thai countryside & will be an unforgettable sonic experience engraved in our memories. An extended thanks to the Catch 428 team.

In closing, as DVS1 recently quoted - 'The Soundsystem is the Headliner' :)

For our next installment, we stay in Italy. Hailing from Bolzano, gateway to the mighty Dolomites, comes ALPI. A producing duo with a love for vinyl and synthesizers looking for their distinctive sound since 2014.
Their music, along with this mix, is characterized by the use of tribal timbres and hypnotic sounds. Drawing the listener into a primordial and ritualistic dimension.

ambient live set at Halle am Berghain - New Year 2024

The recording of my set from La Nature Festival, recorded 12-3PM on a glorious sunny Sunday on the 23rd of June 2024.

This was one of my favourite sets this summer, I was so honoured to be playing before the legendary DJ Nobu, and spent time preparing for this set gathering bright~dubby~daytime techno with a zippy flair and uplifting energy 🧚

The set features lots of tracks I’ve been enjoying this summer, including music by: Tsott, GiGi FM, Azu Tiwaline, Vladw, Al Wootton, Sindh, Luigi Tozzi, Konduku, Stojche, Ness, Ruman, Rene Wise, Fireground, Forest On Stasys, Kohra & Midnight Traffic +++

Influenced by mzansi house, kwaito, gqom, and jazz, his sets carry the weight of the city’s underground energy while weaving in the deep, atmospheric textures of dub, ambient, and minimal acquired during later years spent delving into the Berlin and Barcelona nightlife scenes. Now based in Zurich, he has refined his approach, shaping a sound that is introspective, groovy and immersive.

Slade is part of Alquimica Records, a collective and creative concept dedicated to bringing a dynamic African and Latin electronic sound to the heart of Europe. He is also involved in Show and Tell Records, a Berlin-based label run with close friends. Beyond music, Slade organizes gatherings and events and spends time painting under the alias visceraltints

Pretty much all of the best sets I have played and witnessed happened on the farm, and when asked to put out a mix as part of the “Shambhala Mix Series” I figured it would be rude not to!
