I have been noticing my dissociation and distractions throughout mixing. While I'm mixing, I've noticed that all my automatically distracted thoughts are inside my head. I'm listening to music but all of sudden I'm thinking of something else. 
So far music helps me to realise what I really want and who I really am. Having a great journey to find myself what I've been lost for a long time, actually my entire life.
This track expresses my unorganized thoughts from March to April 2023.

You will notice how much our brain just automatically plays other layers of thoughts while you are literally focusing on something, also just after few hours of distraction or doubtful thoughts took over your brain and it temporarily deleted all your ability that you already have...

Why?
Anxiety and insecurities are your best enemy... keep away from your mind at all costs. well it's not easy.

Music releases your repressed emotions. Love, joy, sorrow, anger, grief, ..... you pick your tune that you 'feel' and some elements in the music somehow triggers your hidden repressed emotions and music will let it out. Therapeutic beautiful thing that human created from begging of the ancestor... it's all stored in our dna.

Challenge all those norm that I believed it was 'the rule'.

what I feel these days

These days, I have forced myself to take control over my mind, as I needed to challenge my old belief system deeply rooted within my thought patterns. Overwriting my 'automatic' thinking routine wasn't easy, but this time I attempted the following:

Sleep deprivation.
Mind-altering chemicals.
Listening to new sounds.
Watching new movies.
Surprisingly, sleep deprivation worked quite well, and after 24 hours, my concentration became much clearer, allowing me to focus on things more effectively compared to my usual days filled with distractions.

Oh yes music, I've been listening so many different artists sets and have come this realisation that everything we do is just form of an art. It was extremely challenging to convince my perfectionism but because of trying new things, actually brings more colourfulness to my world.
