Happy to finally publish this piece I was commissioned. It is written for an imaginative and philosophical blog project that calls for authors and contributors:

We who dwell between the Realms have created a blog for writings which foster open, modest, and curious activity. The writings are in themselves mere openings into ‘between realms’, where new and wonderful ideas might come to being. As such, we want to acknowledge references of all fields which enlarge our thinking. That is why we welcome you, whoever you are, to animate our project.                           
We accept not only writings (in Finnish or in English or in Japanese), but also any creative expressions that embody modesty, openness and curiosity, which we call “ignorant wisdom”. Themes we have envisioned for our project are Space, Multidimensional well-being, Holistic view of (human) beings, and Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, but we also accept expressions outside of these themes. We welcome any expressions our openings might inspire.

Built around fifths and effects, featuring some synth flute

Midnight Train

Wrote this and another track in a day, decided it was more interesting than going to a theory class. Named after a character in Haruki Murakami's "Norwegian Wood". I would love to love reading more than I do. But when I actually finish a story like this, it links with everything I'm trying to do musically at the moment.

A film and video game composer from Finland, Topi Lepojärvi has studied classical composition at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. While largely a self-taught musician, he has previous background as a pop/jazz pianist, songwriter and acoustic guitarist. Starting out with folk metal and rock groups, he carried those influences over to electronic music production. Today, he mostly works with sounds that he creates from scratch and instruments he performs himself
