The end was nigh; every avenue had been exhausted but all to no avail. This wasn't the outcome she'd hoped for, moving forward had been her priority from the outset. But her mind that couldn't shake the image. As much as she'd tried to block it out, it had become impossible. If her waking thoughts weren't consumed by it, her dreams were — that was something she couldn't control. 

One of our favourite dystopian soundtrackers Rat Life Records are returning with another EP 'to accompany the end of the world'. The label, run by producer and DJ Credit 00, have previously shared apocalyptic sounds from Fotze & Fatzke, Westlake & Hayter and Mr Incognito, and are now welcoming Rome-based producer Religious Order to the family. The six tracks across his 'Luci Nere' EP boast the gritty textures we've come to expect of a Rat Life release: a fusion of sludgy electro rhythms, eerie acid lines and distorted EBM vocal hits.

Maria Ferreira aka MVRIA, has been an integral piece in establishing a renown plot of goodness within the underground dancefloor scene in Oporto, Portugal. Backed by a solid community that has welcomed carefully hand picked local and international acts, she's been a key figure in making Passos Manuel an institution of higher standards of truth when it comes to quality fun. Happy to announce that the first FERMA Vinyl release coming in the form of a VA compilation. “Rites of Passage” is hitting the dancefloors with a variety of different tools and club styles combining deep grooves, electro sounds, rolling basslines and sinister synths.

On A side, Jack Roland pulls the trigger with “Bizzare” showing once again his unbeatable style of production blending mysterious atmospheres with exceptional grooves. Serge Geyzel adds to the mix a unique deep-head track called “Numb” fusing heavy beats with dark ambient colors and metal percussions. 

On the flip side, Vilnius based 5ZYL keeps the energy high with “Keistas Dalykas” which combines a hard-hitting rolling bassline with his personal touch of EBM. The release closes with “System Karma” from the synth-lover Extase Urbaine minimizing the gap between Amsterdam and Athens scenes with his exclusive body music rhythms with trancey pads.

Founder of “Pinkman Records” label and record store in Rotterdam, Marsman is one of the key figures of underground electronic music. Label manager, radio host and relentless DJ, his life is devoted to music and his aim is to represent artists sometimes in margin but always extra-talented. Marsman was at Motel Campo in April and delivered a futuristic techno / EBM set showing him at his best.
