Celebrating ten years of their legendary debut album ‘Empire’, Super8 & Tab present an exclusive collection of remixes on ‘Empire 10 pt. 1’.

Miika Eloranta and Janne Manserus, aka Super8 & Tab, have been part of our family for over 15 years. They began collaborating on music in 2005, and the magic was instant. The likes of ‘Black Is The New Yellow’, ‘Helsinki Scorchin’ and ‘Irufushi’ have stood the test of time.

They have remixed Above & Beyond’s Tranquility Base classic ‘Oceanic’, and most recently delivered a mix for the 20 Years of Anjunabeats compilation series. 

Super8 & Tab kick off the remix package with their own 2021 update of ‘My Enemy’, feat. Julie Thompson. Known for their earth-shaking remixes of Gabriel & Dresden and Armin van Buuren, San Francisco’s Elevven add another mix to their formidable arsenal with their take on title track ‘Empire’. 

Three Anjunabeats newcomers make up the rest of the EP. KhoMha’s high-octane sounds have landed him on stages at Tomorrowland, Ultra, Global Gathering and A State Of Trance. His rework of ‘Good Times’ is true to form. Emerge and Reznor round off the package with their remixes of ‘Black Is The New Yellow’ and ‘My Enemy’ respectively. Both artists have been supported by Above & Beyond on Group Therapy Radio.

GRAMMY-nominated DJ and production duo Gabriel & Dresden return to Anjunabeats with ‘Kinetic Cinema’.

Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden, aka Gabriel & Dresden, have earned a dedicated and unwavering fanbase over the past two decades of their career. Renowned for their timeless and emotional records, the GRAMMY-nominated production duo underpinned modern trance with hits like ‘As The Rush Comes’, ‘Beautiful Things’ and ’Tracking Treasure Down.’

Gabriel & Dresden made their Anjunabeats album debut with ‘The Only Road’ in 2017. Title track ‘Only Road’, co-written and performed by Sub Teal, went on to be remixed by Cosmic Gate and was subsequently nominated for a GRAMMY in 2018. 

The duo have three BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes under their belt, won Best American DJ, Best Producers and Best Remixers at the IDMA Awards, scored 21 #1’s on the Billboard Dance Chart, peaked at #20 on DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s poll and have performed in over 40 countries worldwide. 

Last year, the pair joined forces with Andrew Bayer and Sub Teal on ‘Other Eye’, which saw spins from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Farius, Mark Sixma, Andrew Rayel, Kyau & Albert and Tritonal.

Gabriel & Dresden now make their return to Anjunabeats with their seismic single ‘Kinetic Cinema’, a techno floor-filler that’s earned support from the from the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Anden, Argy, Dark Heart, Edu Imbernon, Fur Coat, Joris Voorn, Kevin De Vries, LP Giobbi, Nicole Moudaber, Oliver Heldens and many more.
