This song is inspired by the beauty of the female aspect of the water; the horizontal water that flows in the rivers and oceans, that lies in the lakes. In this way I offer my heart and my deepest prayer of thanks to Pachamama, to our mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, cousins friends for bringing the joy and beauty of the feminine to our lives. Thank you for birthing us, caring for us, loving us us and providing us with challenges which inspire us to grow. Thank you for the opportunity to dive deep into our emotions and find the treasures that lie there. Thank you sacred water for the life you give us, for the cleansing and purification that you bring. We owe our lives to you. Please teach us to look after you, as you look after us. We love you. Water is life! For all our relations! Aho mitakuye oyasin!

Song Of The Waters

This is a song to honour the male aspect of the sacred water, the water of the sky. It’s a prayer for us, especially us men, to continue to learn to allow our feelings to flow. It's a song inspired by the teachings of the chiefs of the Red Path from Mexico and Ecuador; a ceremonial chant that was sung around the sacred fire with simple drum and rattle accompaniment for many years before this version was recorded with it's full instrumental backing.

Water Of The Sky

The melody came to me in a dream. It's a prayer to Mother Earth to express my gratitude and to ask for guidance. It's also a prayer of gratitude for the ancestors and for the wellbeing of the next seven generations.
