SLAUGHTER IN THE SPOTLIGHT: THROUGH THE FLAME [+FLP]

Hey! i'm nick, and im a young composer trying to improve.

I started making music around 2020–2021, mostly creating tracks for Friday Night Funkin’ and a bit for Undertale. Back then, I was just a kid with an 8GB RAM laptop and 240GB of storage, working entirely with soundfonts—because my computer couldn’t even open a single plugin without crashing or needing to be restarted five times.

Still, I never gave up. I put effort into every track I made, even when they sounded rough. Every piece, no matter how flawed, was a step forward. That’s what I want you to understand: greatness starts from smalls beginnings. I’m not saying I’ve reached “greatness” yet, but I’ve grown a lot, and I’ll keep growing until I get there.

So if there's something you love, something you truly want to do, start now. Fight for your dreams, even if you don’t have the best tools or setup. Passion, effort, and persistence are what really matter.

As of today, I feel like my music has taken a huge leap forward, a leap that took a long time. Like I said, it took me five years to get to this point, and I’m still not at the top! But I’ll keep the discipline to keep improving.
