Basement Session 02: Go Deep

I'm transferring to the mac finally, so I had to test out Garage Band.  I'll be getting LogicPro X soon... can't wait to fool around with that.

In the meantime, here's a little tropical groove I produced with some simple loops.  Trying to squeeze out the last little bits of summer!

Unwind (Garage Band Sound)

I listened to slower tempos all summer and fall so I wanted to experiment with 118 bpm.  "Summer time all the time" is kinda like the genre that has come to embody that tempo, coined by 'Viceroy.'  Check out his Soundcloud.  And, play this one of course.

I know I'm not the only one who's sick of walking outside in the morning and feeling their boogers freeze.  So listen to this and warm up a little. Spring and summer are right around the corner.

For those interested in the more technical aspects of this mix, I focused much more on matching pitches and keys this time around as opposed to adding effects here and there.  I'm satisfied with the way it turned out, with the exception of only a few song transitions.  Enjoy!
