The title track "Morning Sun" gives people the impression of waking up early in the morning after a good and fulfilling sleep, somewhere in India. It's spring time, the sun is rising, you can hear birds chirping outside everywhere. Although this is the general atmosphere, the lush and atmospheric sitar, the chopped vocals, marble sounds and a subtle touch of tabla are adding a rather darker and hypnotic vibe to the track.

We are absolutely thrilled to have one of the pioneers of deep, dreamy and electronic grooves. Mark Slee doesn't need any formal introductions, but like all quality artists it is important to provide a little background and context to give you listeners a nugget of information to take away with you :) 

He's been on the scene for over 20 years and therefore has an idea of what groove is all about. Teaming up with Atish in 2016 they created the label @manjumasi , which has been a leader in releasing quality deep house productions with a hint of quirkiness to differentiate themselves from the masses. Super groovy EP!

Tel Aviv-based duo PETEL — made up of Kobi and Ehud — make their debut on ELIF’s
Marginalia with Be, while Marginalia staple Althoff returns, this time on remix duties. The EP
showcases the pair’s unique synergy: Kobi’s precision in production and Ehud’s deep musicality
combine to create a sound that’s both vulnerable and expansive.

The opening track Be channels a powerful message of identity and presence. Haunting vocals
swirl around analogue warmth, as hypnotic synths and fluid grooves evolve with patience and
purpose. It’s a track that invites surrender — both in the body and in the moment.

Stepping up for the remix is Brazilian talent Althoff (Katermukke, Bar 25, Borders of Light), who
has released regularly with Marginalia. Known for his textured, organic approach to melodic
techno and supported by names like Solomun and Adriatique, Althoff reimagines Be with tribal
percussion, layered tension, and sweeping melodic phrasing — turning the original’s intimacy
into a peak-time ritual.

The EP closes with No Fear, a darker, late-night roller with tightly wound rhythms and deep,
immersive energy. Synth lines pulse beneath subtle vocal samples, building toward a moment of
restrained release.

With Be EP, Marginalia continues its journey of releasing music that fuses feeling and function
— a home for artists unafraid to dig deeper.

Sunset Grooves Podcast 056 - Bombyce

The world tends to think that there is less and less quality music,  which if you are judging only by what commercial songs that are played on the big radio stations.. that is true. However if you dig deep enough you reach  this underground world of quality music and amongst a number of intriguing and wonderful artists the name Wassim Younes will definitely appear across your screen. A DJ known for his excellent mix tapes not only on his profile but for a number of the best music podcasts around such as our friends Serefin Audio Imprint, Orient Art and Deep Vibes Radio, he has also more recently produced a number of quality tracks notably collaborating with Stanisha. 

This mix will make you feel you are being transported by the Lebanese clouds just high enough so you can appreciate the Sun set over the sea and across the mountains. A seamless hour long mix with a number of oriental gems, mixed with a smooth slow house beat perfect to soak in that evening sun. Sunset Grooves Podcast #154 - The Scumfrog "Friends with Boats Vol. 5"

Every year Sabo’s label @Solselectas drops its highly anticipated Summer Sol compilation and our personal favorite is one of those feel good tunes for this summer by the wicked Swiss Duo @Okuma-sounds. 

It hits stores on the 19th of June which is the day of the summer solstice, as the EP’s concept is a celebration of world culture, as regardless of skin colour, gender or social background, Sol Selectas motto, is that we are all equal under the light on the sun.

This year’s compilation features music from over twenty different countries and lyrics in many different languages produced by a variety of wonderful talented artists. 

Covering a range of tempos, the tracks vary in style from melodic deep house to meditative electronica, all with rich percussive textures and enchanting melodies.
