For over five years we’ve been browsing through boundless seas and branched forests to find powerful gems leaving a sharp impression while taking us on a journey. They infatuate, fascinate and delight the listeners falling in love with the works of art. What makes the quest most fun: the more unknown the artists, the more truthful the productions. Another glowing chapter of the history of the agricultural music scene, traces the growth and development of a swiss farmhouse from a tiny village to a mountain city and eventually blossoming into a premier centre of sound and trade. This development played a tremendous role in the progress of Copycow and surrounding animals like Jean Caillou.
To Come clean had its own shares of ups and downs. Wars, famines, plague, recession, strikes and a major explosion, were some of the setbacks. The swiss farmhouse survived them all emerging like a phoenix and rising to great heights and prosperity through a process of deep evolution.

No one can describe his vision and approach better than he himself. Remixing is something special to him. He always tries to put himself into the other artists shoes first and then delivers his own version of the original theme or concept. His remix tries to stay true to the original while adding a dance-friendly fundament built almost entirely from original parts.
„When remixing an acoustic piece or a band song I always try to honor the original structure and not reduce it to a simple phrase, so it was natural to use as much of the original parts as possible
Something that struck me as odd was the differentiation between male and female vocals, so I decided to strike a balance and make all vocals androgynous (by formant shifting), and add a call-and-response pattern between the sparse cellos and the chorus vocal.
After focussing on the original guitar parts and using them (in conjunction with a re-model of the original percussion) to build up to the main motif, I was left with a version that was kind of an "edit" of the original - but something was missing.
Trying to keep the motif of conjuring forces of nature, I tried to put in a little twist - while the rest of the song is rather airy and calm, I wanted to introduce a contrasting element in the break section. The satisfying lullaby of the four winds disappears and gives way to a synth blizzard that, like a thunderstorm, fades away and returns to the sunshine-filled main motif.“
