Younger Sister

Sunset Avenue is an alternative folk group located in Tennessee. The group is made up of four musicians: Jake Apple, Jessica Apple, Tucker Shofner, and Jim Apple.

Frontman Jake Apple plays guitar and is the lead singer. Jessica Apple adds flair to the group with her harmonious backup vocals; she also plays the mandolin and piano / synth for the group. Tucker Shofner adds to the lower spectrum with his bass playing and, finally, the experienced Jim Apple keeps the tempo and groove of the group with his drumming.

Sunset Avenue is currently working on an upcoming EP called "Lighthouse". The album will contain five songs, written by leader Jake Apple. The first song to come out for this album will be "Sailing". This song will release by the end of the year. (Official release date to be announced soon)

"Lighthouse" combines alternative rock music with the upbeat pace of pop, along with the natural and more serious tone of folk music.

The group, recently formed, will be playing much as the new year approaches.
