Summer Melody is back with the new installment of our Intertwines EP series, showcasing new and upcoming artists in a pair of two, and starting their own fusion towards the label. Our 12th installment includes two melodic tracks, from artists hailing from UK and Finland respectively, who are both label returning artists. A special installment that includes two returning artists, for a reason.

Starting the release, we welcome back the uprising Mark Moncrieff with Paper Cranes! Mark debuts through Summer Melodies Vol.8 back in 2021, and since then he has been releasing several originals and remixes on Summer Melody, as well as on Emergent Shores, Synth Collective and Dynamic Progressions. Paper Cranes is his first release of 2025 from this uprising artist, and already back to his own roots of nostalgic and melodic sounds. A delicate track filled with hope and dreams of future, like the Paper Cranes hanging for good luck and fortune.

The other side of this release also welcomes back another uprising artist, DTALM with Life Support. Darryn aka DTALM debuts with the remix of Leonety's Infarntalana back in 2020, and has released two original releases on the label, plus originals and remixes on Alter Ego Progressive and Soluna Music in the recent years. Stepping out of the boundaries of melodic progressive, Life Support provides with a club and energetic side of progressive. A captivating track that explores outside of the usual melodic progressive sounds, that difference provides a spot for DTALM to return to the label.
