This instrumental piece aims to depict an adventure story through the piano. The concept throughout the song can be understood as follows: the piano represents the protagonist in an open-world RPG, and the flute, violin, celesta, erhu, and other instruments represent the companions venturing together, surrounded by the sounds of nature. As the adventure progresses, these companions join and depart. In a way, perhaps life itself unfolds in a similar manner.

This year, I initially planned to present a more intricate piece, but due to various reasons (mainly rushed BGA arrangements and some immaturity in the composition), the intended piece will be postponed for release next year. For now, I'm releasing this relatively light and fresh piece with a similar theme. I hope you all enjoy it! Additionally, I won't elaborate much on my imaginative thoughts this time. I'll simply list the titles of each "chapter" for the audience's reference:

**Part 1 - “Origin” by SunsetRay 0:00-0:22**
The interweaving of intension and gentleness at the beginning creates a strong contrast, laying the foundation for most polyphonic sections in the entire piece. It's something I never tried before! The aim is to evoke a grand opening, a sense of traversing through sealed time and space. Some timbres and concepts in "Glaciaxion" (such as the overuse of glitches) are incorporated.

**Part 2 - “Incinerate” by Ra 0:23-1:06**
This section employs the Hungarian minor scale (also known as the Gypsy minor scale) to render a mysterious and exotic feeling. When listening, you might as well pay attention to the relationship between the choir and the saw lead in this segment. The first half is dominated by the choir and saw lead separately, while the second half merges them harmoniously. The four measures after 52s have something to do with an often-used pattern in my pieces. I hope that someone can figure it out!

**Part 3 - “Eliminate” by SunsetRay 1:07-1:40**
This segment transitions into a harmonic minor scale. Structurally, it follows the classic approach of progressing from details to the whole, akin to zooming in and then zooming out on scenes in a destroyed world. In the latter half, besides the *main melody line (choir + ensemble strings)*, the music can be separated into the *piano + celesta* and *flute + temple bell* – two relatively independent melody lines. This parallel exposition with a less distinct "hierarchy" aligns with the depiction of the "entirety" of the world. Despite potential imperfections, this section genuinely took me a lot of time and work to compose!

**Part 4 - “Rebirth” by Ra 1:40-2:03**
This section shifts to a 3/4 time signature, primarily in the natural minor mode. The last measure of every four measures can be interpreted as temporarily transitioning to the Dorian mode. This transition corresponds to the main theme of *Paradigm: Reboot* composed by *Supaton7z* (which is also the structure of my previous track, "Sunset Canyon"), where the constant shift of the sixth degree creates an unpredictable tonal palette. The interplay of minor and major scales (which appears for the first time) also coincides with the theme of this segment. The climax conveys an explosive and vociferous sensation, with the piano aiming for a relatively unrestrained effect. The magic rhythm also lays the groundwork for the upcoming time signature changes.

**Part 5 - “Finale” by SunsetRay 2:04-2:28**
In this part, the time signature changes to 6/8 (when considering the piano as the main melody). The goal is to achieve a summary effect that elevates the overall theme, incorporating all the instruments used throughout the earlier parts. The shifts between major and minor tonalities suggest the central theme of a future composition. Additionally, the opening and closing themes echo each other, accompanied by corresponding swell sound effects, achieving a cyclic unity.

This journey of composing this track spanned over 2 years, encompassing more than 80 hours of work across 4 projects, totaling 58 versions. It endured numerous restarts, rewrites, and navigated through bouts of low confidence. At the very least, I'm delighted to have completed this piece! While there are undoubtedly areas that fall short (apologies to my audience), I hope everyone can find aspects they enjoy. Squeezing so many elements into a 2.5-minute piece was indeed a substantial challenge for me. Onward with the effort!

This time, I want to present to you a piece of world music in a Middle Eastern style. The concept for this piece actually began to take shape as early as 2021, and it was realized through the opportunity to collaborate with "Rolling Sky". The original title, "Aussyris," is a variant of the ancient Egyptian mythological figure, "Osiris." Not confined solely to the Middle Eastern style, this song also aims to incorporate instruments from various cultural regions, weaving them together in a storytelling fashion that resonates with the theme of the magic lamp (from "One Thousand and One Nights").

Musically, the basic idea is to continuously modulate using characteristic tones (mainly staying within the Phrygian and major scales, occasionally incorporating Arabian modes), creating a seamless transition between sections with evolving colors. Structurally, it follows a relatively symmetric ABABA form, returning to the original key after several modulations, with a cohesive beginning and end. The B sections can be seen as bridges, while the A sections serve as drops+intros/outros, shuttling between two distinct themes. The B sections evoke a feeling similar to RPG style, emphasizing a narrative quality, with the main instruments being the Ney flute and Oud, possibly influenced by Rigel Theatre's style. These sections mainly feature a Middle Eastern/Spanish (?) style, emphasizing their unique tonalities, supported by percussion and keyboard instruments to create an atmospheric backdrop.
