A bold mix of hip hop and global club sounds in this week's Rhythmic Culture podcast with Brussel's Blck Mamba. The Studio Brussel resident strives to bring a new vibe to Belgian nightlife with her hip hop show called Hooray and her party Mo Mamba, in which she shares the decks with DJs who inspire her artistically, helping her to push boundaries of club music.

In her mix she takes us onto just all of that – an hour filled with party-starters only that stretches far beyond genres.

Air Waves Guest Mix 002 - @biancaoblivion (Los Angeles, United States)

This time the guest mix comes from the multi-talented Los Angeles-based Bianca Oblvion.

With her label @clubaerobics - and via the label's monthly residency on NTS - she's showcasing exciting new club sounds from all around the world while getting praised herself for her talents behind the decks by the likes of @diplo, @toddla_t or @teki-latex. 

Growing up Mexican in Los Angeles, she was influenced by everything from gangster rap to cumbia and hard house and while training as a dancer throughout her early years, was drawn to African, Afro-Caribbean and Brazilian dance forms. She started DJing after frequenting the LA club scene during the height of electro and blog house and you can hear all of these influences in her sets and productions.

After producing remixes for several years, she started releasing her own productions this year and generated a lot of buzz with tracks like "Bumbum Pra Cá,” “Drip” or “Bubble Pon Di Bed”.

Her mix is full of new heaters and a fun edits and shows her unique blend of genres - with baile funk, jersey club, grime, garage, jungle and and everything in between.
