This is the fourth track from "-naut". The idea for this collection was to create each track as the inverse of the previous concept and explore from there. This track was assembled in layers with an emphasis on the heavy percussion and texture.

Final track from the '-naut' collection. A more simple construction now to round off the set. It has all been great to build and feel through, I hope you will enjoy this work and the coming thoughts. After next week's release there will be a new EP to start posting which I now call 'Fidget'. It is shaping up to be more experimental in nature, with a Stockhausen influence showing through more clearly. Stay tuned for that and other works to come.

Born Into A Closing Mouth

I like the sound I've managed to create of this piece. Exploratory and yet it returns to the same idea for presence. I think this will be my last release of the year (for this account), though I will certainly keep working. This year has been a very interesting time for my work and growth, certainly. I began this long period in a completely different space and wish mostly that I still had evidence of that old work. Alas it is gone with the hard drive and the best I can do is strive far forward with this work and see what else I can find. Hope you'll enjoy this and whatever else I can twist together.

Shipwreck Skin

I based the idea of this construction on thoughts of sample flipping, how a simple fragment could be twisted about to be something wholly new. Drums aside, this is entirely constructed from one sample, only further and further twisted as it runs through and into the second layer. A play of simplicity, but enjoyable too for that. An exploration of rhythmic relation and timing, groove over elaboration.
