Revolver Saturday Morning 10 year Anniversary Set Sep 2013 Pt 1

 “It’s been over five years since my last installment in the Freakshow Disco mix series…perhaps too long….perhaps not.   After recording the initial blend of tracks for this mix, I went back and re-edited most of the songs to make them more concise for the purposes of home listening.   
  Once the arrangements were all sitting tight, I went back yet again and overdubbed live oscillators, synthesizers, theremin, percussion, dub delays, vocal samples and other assorted noises to send the whole thing further into a dark psychedelic bubble.  
  Finally after all the music had been constructed, I ran the entire mix through a series of vintage and analogue tape machines to add extra spongey warmth and cram the disparate sounds into the same environment……
  That about ends my nerdish musical rant/description.  The only other thing I would say is that I tried to put this mix together in such a way that it listens like an album, as opposed to just a bunch of tunes thrown together in a club.  Thanks for listening,"
