AURICAL is AtYyA’s first auditory foray in 2015, following an array of acclaimed releases in 2014. The 4 track EP takes you on a cosmic journey through soundscapes of many colors, from deep and mysterious aural explorations, to vibrant voyages on a spaceship fueled by low end. With each track featuring shimmering synths, sparkling keys, & delicate melodies, all carefully harmonically tuned, Aurical is another example from AtYyA on how to redefine 808 music as we know it. AURICAL EP will be released on February 9th, 2015 under the mighty Merkaba Music. Keep an eye out for an upcoming spring tour and a debut album in 2015!

I had the incredible honour to open this night and set the space before Kaminanda and Kalya Scintilla. 

I've chosen to open this set with the sacred mantra used in the Kundalini tradition: "Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo." It means "I bow to the subtle Divine wisdom in All, I bow to the Divine teacher within." This mantra is used before practicing any Kundalini yoga or meditation and is called "tuning in" because when it is chanted, we consciously remind our souls that we are connected to every teacher or guide all the way back to infinity, and that we ourselves each contain that Divine wisdom within ourselves. 

This set was infused with hyper- focused heart-centered sonic vibrations and intentions of pure love and light. 

Recorded live at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 31st, 2015.
