I played this set for my close friends on a beautiful Sunday evening and it reminded me of the weight music has on one's mood and feelings. While I enjoy listening to faster and heavier music, I sometimes need to slow down and focus on the beauty of things and remember how f*cking lucky I am to be surrounded by loving people.

Since I grew up in the UAE, I have always had a close relationship to the Arabic language, culture and the desert. While mixing this set, I had a strong feeling of nostalgia and I imagined my feet touching the fine sand of the desert.
