A collaboration between Sunwarper's west coast infused, warped surf guitars and Cpektir's woodland, contemplative beats. "Travels in Parallel" is the introduction to the new EP, Lunar Ghosts, a sonic companion for stationary travelers roaming the galaxy within our minds. Pulsating electronic drums meet delayed guitars and warbling synths to prepare for launch into the solar system.

The EP follows a story of space travel, the search for new worlds and slowly getting further and further away from Earth, and all that we know.

This project grew from a couple of tracks traded back and forth into a full EP. With that in mind, Cpektir and I wanted to bring in our friends Kh3rtis, Letters From Mouse, Star Madman and Survey Channel to take our tracks and put their own spin on them for remixes.

Sunwarper is a Los Angeles based project creating warped, atmospheric electronic music.  Following several releases under the moniker Selles, Michael Jakucs brings a new emphasis on live instruments and sampling under the new name.  Field recordings and a keen attention to sonic detail create an audible palette which Jakucs uses to craft nostalgia dripped tunes.  Songs drift into times since passed, as wistful synths give way to dusty beats.
