Rare Basic Recordings presents ‘Collection Of Perspectives’ by Various Artists [RBR004]

A remarkable 8 track compilation by Various Artists, all propelling in a distinctive pattern. Russia based producer psor, opens up with an unusual abstract hip hop stunner, followed by Pretoria based MrembolaSIr, expanding our minds with a minimal deep track, debutant artist on our label Rare Basic. 3rd track by yet another Pretoria based artist Kai Davids, debut release as an artist and also on Rare Basic. Followed by CohenJay, a thrilling artist from the shores of Cape Town, debutant on the label roaster too, more stuff to expect from him on Rare Basic. Featuring 5th track by DYZII, a well baked experienced artist from East Rand,Jozi.. With a couple of releases on his catalog. 6th track by our brother Mintiest as he comes back to the label with a blister of track. Last but not least, label boss leads the way as he rocks us with a deep house original tune.

PREMIERE: Rick Koen - Simple Deep Mid 90's [Rare Basic Recordings]

Hurlee’s ‘Favourite Jazz’ ranks very high amongst the discerning public’s best loved tracks on Suol and we are very happy to have him back with a brand new release.
The ‘Dubby Feelings’ EP is a two-tracker that showcases the latest step in the evolution of the Spaniard’s deep-yet-bouncy House style.
First up is ‘OP Bass’, which builds on a solid foundation of classic drum machines and rolling percussion. A catchy little vocal cut kicks off an infectious bass line that is joined by subtle chord stabs before Hurlee seriously turns up the glory with soaring pads that will float you through this groover with a big smile on your face.
‘Frankie Here’ takes us on a journey through shimmering crystal caves. Synth chords with heavy dub delays sparkle left and right as we use the solid groove to guide our steps and we just know we can’t go wrong.
