The Bahama Soul Club - Afro Shigida feat. Kojato (suonho Spirit Of 70s Rmx)

One of the funkiest track from the maestro Piero Umiliani got an even funkier treatment to make it available for today's club use. A cut taken from the soundtrack"La Ragazza Fuori Strada" , directed by Luigi Scattini in 1973, last episode of a trilogy dedicated to Zeudi Araya (see the picture: Piero Umiliani, to the left, Zeudi Araya, at center and Luigi Scattin, to the right).
 I've rearranged some parts but is basically a rhythm reconstruction over the the playback that has no beat at all (just an hi-hat line for the whole lenght), the edit also include the unreleased pt2 with has a rich string section on it! ..lemme me know if it worth the effort! thankyou.

Rounding off the release is an unexpected Nu-skool Brazilika-brukbeat from Positive Flow aka Jesse Reuben Wilson on "Elegguà" and some solid Latin funky breaks from Jack&Jointz on the rolling "Rumba Fugaz".

All remixes are mastered by The Uncle and very special radio-edits were made exclusively for the beautiful 180g vinyl. Containing nine tracks, this 12" looks like a neat introduction for newcomers and a nice round up for long-term Bahama Soul Club admirers. The full extended versions of all remixes will be released on CD and Digital formats."

The whole It's a fresh blend of Soul, Latin, Jazz, Samba and Bossanova ...Picked some hot brasilian grooves and retouched respectfully for those latin flavoured clubbier occasions. Reworks between edits an remixes.. Someone called that a "Jam-A Nova"! It Should make we dance and feel fine this summer 2012 and beyond....
