Once there was a theme composed entirely for the square wave. Unfortunately the massive square wave sound was too much for the song and got abandoned. Fortunately the name of the song stayed.
Square Wave Affection is a perfect slalom song. Its lively and sparkling melodies combined with its bold bass and huge drum sounds lures listener to the wonderful world of winter sports. Enjoy!

Super Life Records, from Helsinki, Finland are proud to present their first compilation album. On their Challenge One - compilation there are 15 brand new stunning tracks of electronic music. The music style is mostly techno but the sound varies from poptechno-songs with vocals such as Mite Item - Challenge Me or Pop Down - The Whole Game to monotonic factory techno by Raul Ivalo or to elegant jamming by Serot. 
Towards the end of the album there are also some bit more tranquil tracks like the dubby tunes by Thin_i or Chains before the last track which is a modern morning rave classic, Phink by James Reipas.

James Reipas is a duo from Helsinki playing psychedelic techno. At first the name Space Art EP may seem a bit self-ironic but the name also suits the music. Space is a bit sleepy track where many things are at least as much about the space between sounds and notes as about melodies and rhythms themselves. Art is a groovy techno track with some unconventional creative ideas. As a very nice special bonus there is a great dubby remix of the track Space by downtempo masters HuuHaa.

Mushic is a techno project from Fujinomiya, Japan. Mushic started in 2006 and the music is a combination of mechanical-sounding rhythms and emotional melodies. The track Kitamakura is minimal tech music with pianos and guitars played live floating on top of the hypnotic beat.

The EP includes also three remixes by Super Life Records artists from Helsinki: An epic melodic techno remix by Dten, a fresh vintage techno remix by James Reipas and a beautifully complex electronica remix by Josu Mämmi. The word Kitamakura means the pillow facing north in Japanese and it's said that one who lays down with his head facing north, sleeps well. The mushic debut EP release party will be in Fujinomiya on 14 April 2018.

Serot is a Helsinki-based electronic music trio, which brings organic human groove and electronic instruments together in a very special way. Their main goal is to combine the best things of traditional bands and DJ-culture and achieve something totally new and interesting. The track You Know was originally released on a Super Life Records compilation album Challenge One in 2017. On this EP there is the original version and four remixes. Antti Rasi -remix is smooth deep house music, James Reipas remix is a rather original blend of retroish italo-house, synthpop and techno. Dten has gone for the tech-house sounds and HuuHaa dives back to deep house music with their hypnotic and wide remix. Altogether this EP brings you the current very best electronic music from Helsinki.

Josu Mämmi delivers the next instalment of his three EP series about evolution. Here his music has evolved more towards classic minimal house and haunting electro sounds. 
The opening track ‘Hunches’ is designed for the club but offers an illuminating experience when listened with headphones due to it’s percussively manipulated binaural field recordings. 
The next track ‘Benefactor’ continues with main focus on futuristic sound design and rhythms while bringing a hint of dub into the mix. 
EP’s last track ‘Constructive State’ brings back the four on the floor feeling beneath the deep fabric of continually varying percussions and sound design ear candy.

HuuHaa was started by Khaiku & Olpek in Helsinki in 2012. The project has always been about deep and spacey downtempo bass music and they've released many tracks and remixes on various labels. After releasing two remixes on the  label, Breeze Of Wind is their first single on Super Life Records. The track is tropical deep house music with huge sonic atmosphere and groovy pulsative bassline.

A couple of days before year changed to 2016. In the darkest season in Finland. Collaboration named “Välipäivätekno” performed in visual artists studio. Old 90s rave party lights and small group of people
witnessed concert. The audience danced and the minifooger knobs moved.

That night later gave birth to Pop Down.
Their first track "The Whole Game" came out in 2017 and now it's time for the second one "Push"
