A super catchy dance rock pop song, described in a review by The Music Network as "more contagious than the plague", Fists In My Pocket was the first single release from Super Massive, released on their debut self-titled EP, independently through MGM.
Fists earned Super Massive the MusicOz Award for Best Alternative Artist and shot to no.1 on the Triple J Unearthed Dance Chart, remaining in the Top 5 for two months. Super Massive was unearthed as a Triple J Unearthed Featured Artist. The song also went to #1 on the SYN Radio and Channel 31 Video Charts, was picked up for retail play in Australia and NZ on SMA and SBA and received plenty of community radio/tv/media play. It was judged a favourite in cafes nationally on Sounds Like Café Vol 20 and picked up for play in coffeehouses in the US on the Independent Coffee Network. It received a Hit Pick Prediction for CHR Nights in The Music Network magazine. It has yet to be pitched to commercial radio & streaming. Considering re-releasing it.

Meltwater is an uptempo ballad with intimate vocals that soar into classic sing-along melodic pop hooks, squonking synths, crystalline electro sounds, funky electric guitar and a stomping Motown drum feel that releases into a driving, hard-hitting rock beat. The song builds to an orchestral crescendo with the danger of a James Bond soundtrack. Turn it up loud and let it sweep you away. The title and lyrics borrow imagery from glacial melting to describe and express the ecstasy of a frozen heart warming and feeling again through love.
