Steve Kelley has been a stalwart of the scene for over 20 years now, building an incredible career from his early days coming up in the UK’s Midlands scene of the late 90s. 

Having accumulated residencies and show-stopping appearances at some of the biggest meccas for house music globally, his Celestial Recordings label had also built a formidable reputation for quality electronic music. 

Here he brings his skills to Sublease, the home for slightly deeper sounds run by Poker Flat’s Steve Bug. 

'Move Your Body' is a chunky deep house roller, fully assured in its ability to do exactly what the title suggests. 

'Wishful Thinking' is a touch harder, but still retains a silky deep vibe that is fully irresistible.

A three-track EP that includes a YaYa remix that gives the right stir to the whole composition. The first track, 'Step Ahead' is a minimal obscure immersive track that oscillates its synths from definite to acid in no time. 'Arcade' brings housie vibes that blend with trippy synths making this piece a timeless underground track. The last track is YaYa´s Remix of 'Arcade' where exotic drums and blissful shimmers spin up the mix, giving a dazzling note to the entire record.

Butch: A DJ’s DJ, A Producer’s Producer, A Electronic Music Chameleon

Some DJs chase trends. Butch sets them. With two decades in electronic music, he moves effortlessly between house, techno, and everything in between. From closing Circoloco at DC-10 to extended sets at Robert Johnson, his sound is always evolving.

Born in Mainz with Turkish roots, Butch hustled his way into the scene, earning multiple Best Producer awards and working with legends like Ricardo Villalobos, Armand van Helden, Cassius, Maceo Plex, and Keinemusik. His releases on Innervisions, Running Back, Defected, Rekids, Diynamic, and Cuttin’ Headz have shaped the underground.

2025 is set to be massive, with his remix of Duck Sauce’s “Falling In Love” already dominating dancefloors and more releases on the way. Butch doesn’t follow rules—he just makes music that moves people.
