Very electro with its 80’s synthetic textures and powerful 4/4 beats, the sound of Super Chaton immediately surprises with the strange alchemy that it develops beyond. By instilling furious rock distortions, melancholic pop vocals and even strange, almost funk grooves in his compositions, Super Chaton immediately puts the sum of his influences on the table. Not to look pretty, on the contrary, to do what Cyril Leclerc has always known how to do: speak to our most reptilian vibrations by mixing these contradictory energies in a good layer of "dirty".

Even though it knows how to be subtle in his constructions and perfectly mastered in his production, his music refuses the smooth, the wise, the polite. Born somewhere in the dampness of a basement club but largely fed by punk brutality, the sound of Super Chaton flatters our shivering skins as much as our bruised souls of dancefloor warriors. Furious, joyful, black, epic, it raises our arms in a mixture of rage and assumed childish happiness.

Super Chaton is the new project of Cyril Leclerc aka Mystic Gordon after the garage rock of Demi-Mondaine and the electro-clash of Dirty Important Person.
