I havent been uploading mixes to my page since a long time, so I decided to start a monthly mix series for my enjoyment (and hope yours also), with new music purchases, old from the vaults, only vinyl, all digital, weird stuff, thematic selections, fast techno, downtempo, ... or whatever I feel when I hit record. But always in the dark side. 

For this first one there is mostly new stuff I liked from the last months, from EBM and Electro to Techno and Dark Disco.

Second chapter of my new mix series. This time doing a Halloween special like I use to do before. The best excuse to play those very dark themes and those horror movie soundtracks that I usually don't play.

So you know what to expect: horror movie (and videogame) soundtracks, dark ambient, horrordisco, dark industrial stuff, some techno and mostly synth stuff.

The best to set the mood for a day like today.

15th chapter of the mix series.

For this time I did a vinylmix where I wanted to do something different and tell a story with the music.

"A beautiful spring sunset spills across the sky, golden and careless, setting the perfect stage for a night out. You start soft , cocktails clinking, laughter bouncing off the walls of a place that feels just right... The air is easy, the people loose, the mood slipping into something electric. Then come the extras: little sparks, tiny devils, barely noticed until they hit.

Suddenly, the edges of the night start to fray. Things blur; faces melt into noise and color. You drift toward a place someone mumbled about. Hot, packed, bodies humming with fever. The air is thick, tastes like sweat and alcohol and dirty perfume. The pulse of bass under your skin pushes you forward, past reason, past control.

You are spinning now, swallowed by a psychedelic trance, watching the sunrise from the far end of your mind, eyes wide but barely seeing. The idea of home flickers in the back of your mind, a quiet knock you can almost ignore. But on the way back, you slip again, down, down into a darker pit.

A cold, wet, unknown room. Shadows crowd the walls. The beat is gone, but the night isn’t done with you yet. You close your eyes, maybe to rest, maybe to escape, but this time, you don’t wake up."
