For the next 12inch in the Lion’s Choice series we teamed up with Zulu Vibes from France for a rootikal treat prepared at their Alternative Corner Studio. It’s the manifestation of a unique musical meeting with the singer and player of instruments Prince Chamba and musician friends Macca Dread and Crucial Rob.
First the uptempo ‘Judgement Time’ in a rockers fashion, followed by a more laid-back, melodious roots excursion, ‘Conscious Way’, on the flip. Of course each with a dub version. All transferred to 1/2inch tape and mastered with care by Star Delta.

BIOGRAPHY:
Mellow Mood is a reggae band from Pordenone (ITALY), which has started playing in 2005. They have been playing from Rome to Slovenjia, on important stages like Rototom Sunsplash, Bornasco Reggae Festival, Festintenda. In April 2008 they won the regional selections of Italia Wave, one of Italy's most famous competitions. In may 2009, they Won the Rototom Sunsplash Italian Reggae Contest.
In summer 2011, they will be engaged in numerous Italian and International Festivals.
In november 2011, They recorded a new single "Inna Jail", a prelude of their new album that will be realized in 2012. (See below, the new Video).

Upfull Melody is the first single from a forthcoming LP by a collective of musicians called Guiding Star Orchestra based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The track and the album was recorded in the summer of 2016 completely without the use of digital technology. The mix was then done from multitrack 2 inch tape to ¼ tape, and the mastering from ¼ tape to ½ tape. When you record without the possibility of post-editing and cutting, you have to focus on the most important thing – which is the vibe. This has been the philosophy of the recording sessions. Upfull Melody is offered in respect of the strong roots and culture scene, and it is our wish that it can also be used for Soundsystem dances that focuses on a strong positive meditation.

Superfly is a label based in Poland founded by Marek Bogdanski aka MMF, co-founder of Dreadsquad – one of the best known Polish soundsystems.
It is focused mostly at heavy bass music which include Reggae, Dub, Dubstep, Drum'n'Bass, Garage and Breakbeat.

Except releasing music as digital downloads they try as well to keep vinyl culture alive.

Their first international release was „Dreadsquad – Caravan” which is Duke Ellington's jazz standard in a fresh reggae/dub version with 5 remixes, each moving further away from the original. It got very good feedback:
