After his highly acclaimed EP France'N Trance released in 2018, https://soundcloud.com/dj-koyote is back with a new release featuring three remixes of the ghetto house banger “Ladonna”.

On the Choke a Bitch mix, DJ Koyote ventures on his own original track. After a long on-the-fly jam on his 909, he switches the steel-drumish stabs to a disco sample to lead the track to a new room in the nightclub. But it's only a matter of time before he brings the original ghetto vocal sample back, adding some epic synth chords to take the dancers with him on his wild ride.

On the other hand, https://soundcloud.com/toosmoothchrist emphasizes the percussive riff on his remix, twisting it all over the place. Slowing down the original tempo and adding a dub bass, he makes the track bounce as if he wanted to round the edges, moving away from the Chicago projects to trip in northern Italy.

Finally, René Danger passes the original track through his MPC and comes out with a digital dancehall hit, adding a lot of dub effects as is his trademark. By bringing in an acid line, the track becomes obsessive and hypnotic, putting as much pressure on as the original track.

Me and Too Smooth Christ met Master Flashhh a couple of years ago when he was coming to in-stores we were throwing in record shops back then. We’ve started to chill together, talking about life, gear and Brittany. One day he sent us about 40 demos, saying he’d love to release his first EP on Supergenius Records. Impressed by the quality of the tracks, we instantly said yes. That was the easy part. The tough one was to select the tunes for this release, as each one was more amazing than the last.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Master Flashhh, new to the game but not newbie at all. Cinematic, audacious, thought-provoking, his music is carved with great attention to detail and storytelling. In Blue Eyes, the producer draws his inspiration from concrete architecture, backpacking in the Atacama desert on LSD (Los Salvajes Discos) and long solitary walks alongside the ocean in Finistère Brittany (Blue Eyes). Hailing from Paris red light district, his neighbors banging behind the wall gives him original sound material too (X-Rated). EYA Records marks its 10th release with a solo work from French producer Master Flashhh. 
The opening track "Too Big to fail" is stripped back yet energetic, driven by 909 drums,atmospheric pads and drifting vocals.
A2 "Beat Boxxx" is catchy electro workout with vocal samples from a Dominican Republic radio and 303 acid lines. 
On the B side "Boulevard Mystere" is an ode to Boulevard Barbes in Paris, the track is characterised by haunting melodies and a warm analogue bass.
B2 is a dreamy and evocative number with the use of Juno 106 spacey sounds and 808 drum patterns.Enigma EP is contemplative, audacious and imaginative.

Supergenius Records is based on @DJ-Koyote 's and @Toosmoothchrist ’s  musical backgrounds. Their imprint will explore various genres and take many different directions, influenced by their obsession for Detroit and Chicago electronic music but also '70s synth music, soul and blaxpoitation and '90s ambient – imagine having Mr Fingers, Omar S, Curtis Mayfield, Aphex Twin and Ryuichi Sakamoto caught in a studio with only a karaoke machine. The releases will reflect Koyote's and TSC’s idiosyncratic approaches to production : on the outside looking in and creating a new sound, messing up with singular rhythm patterns and oblique time signatures, weird samples and eerie textures. What they will all have in common is a desire to surprise, a forward-thinking attitude and a positive inability to be pigeon-holed.
