this is quite a different vibe than most of my stuff. but man do i love it. there's a lot of original stuff going on here. chords, bass, and i took many liberties with the melody. i named it "onism" after the emotion: the realization of how little of the world you'll see. it's true for all the folks in lacunosa who are walled in at night. been wanting to do lacunosa for a while but i just didn't know how to tackle it. looks like it came out great! enjoy!

this right here. i think this is probably my best work. i really incorporated everything i've learned so far about composition and mixing. so really, this remix is practically an original with virbank's melody. i wanted to originally redo my virbank city lofi remix but ended up going wayyyy more original instead. the chords i wrote are some of my favorites, and the ostinato is for sure my favorite thing about it. this remix gives you a sense of not knowing where you're going and that the world will never be the same again. i named it "sonder" for the realization that everyone's life is just as complex as your own; you just may never know to the extent of one's life. i hope you enjoy it!

This is next in my lineup of Virbank City atmospheric remixes! This time it's sunshine, because it's summer hehe. The natural guitars and ostinato on the kalimba stay, but add in piano and a turkish lute! Makes it sound very worldly. I adapted the ostinato to a major key to make it sound happier. I added some traffic ambience in the background to capture that wholesome, full vibe I went with for the rain one. Still very original here, enjoy!

Sunshine In Virbank

You are about to witness a remix 6 months in the making! I started this project earlier this year in January, and I couldn't be more happy with how it's turned out! I put so much effort in to this, and I hope you can tell! When I upgraded to Logic, I started experimenting with the studio brass and the brass dynamics, as well as the strings. They came together to make my wonderful Driftveil Disco orchestra. I don't think I've been as proud of a remix as this one, so please enjoy!

Welp! Now I have officially remixed a track from every region! I really wanted to remix something from Sinnoh, so I did so for the megamix! There are so many good tracks from Gen 4, and I didn't know which one to do. I decided Route 209 would work best with the future bass feel I wanted to go for! I've never done future bass before, but I think it turned out great! Definitely one of my favorite remixes I've done in a while. Enjoy!

The next one in this new style of lofi I've created! I often forget about Iccirus City's theme, so I wanted to give it my own little twist. Weaving the melody into the chords I'd written was a little difficult, but I think the result is really cool. I always think of Iccirus City in the Spring and Summer seasons when it rains, so I added some rain ambience. Hope you enjoy :)

Extending the summer vibes a little longer! The long awaited and anticipated Johto Towns Medley! Johto only has 5 town themes, so I threw in some other tracks to fill it out. I wanted the arrangement and instrumentation to resemble the Kanto one seeing how closely the two regions are intertwined. Enjoy :)

Been awhile since I've done one of these! A fun lofi little triplet swing of Nacrene City! One of the more overlooked town themes in the OST, but still so good. I think it really highlights the area it's based on, Brooklyn. I added some different ambience, with background people and some bells here and there, just to give it some flare. It's sort of like you left your house for a walk to spend the afternoon studying in a bookstore (which is very intentional 😉). Enjoy!

Nacrene City Lofi Remix - "Vellichor"

Back on the Unova Lofi train with my original style! This time with a bit of a unique one. Lentimas Town I thought would be the hardest to translate into a lofi style, and it proved so. But I think it turned out pretty good! The latin/spanish vibes are pretty heavy here, and a lot of the rhythms are inspired by the ACNH Able Sisters theme. I thought Lentimas would be perfect for October, as it's somewhat spooky. Enjoy :D

The Halloween Megamix 2020 Myster Banger! I wanted to make something dubstep-esque like my Lusamine remix from last year. I was originally gonna do something from Sword and Shield but at the last moment I felt that Ultra Necrozma's battle theme would be the way to go! I last minute reached out to Xontron, a musical buddy of mine, for a little assistance! and MAN did they come through! A lot of the percussion is all Xontron, as well as some of the dubstep growls.
