August 6th, marks the 5th anniversary of my very first DefleMask song, "The Emotional Guy Theme". Then a year later I made a redux on it to fix most of the issues. Now on August 7th/8th, 2020 (better late than never though), I decided to make more improvements to the redux to make it more refined and finalized for my liking just in time for the song's 5th anniversary and the album's release on Bandcamp. I hope you enjoy this redux of my signature theme.

The Emotional Guy Theme (5th Anniversary Redux)

Hello, boys and girls, I'm back from my hiatus! I've been working on this remix for two weeks straight now (August 8th to 22nd). Seeing that I just came out of my hiatus from composing DefleMask music, I decided to create a remix on one of my favorite level tunes from the game: Raclantis Docks, using my own instruments this time. I gave the PSG channels a good workout in this remix, with switching instrument patches in-between certain notes to add some flavor and uniqueness to those channels. I also gave the DAC drums some variety and complexity, especially with the tom-tom work at the end of the song before looping. Did I mention that I created two instruments (named Sadness Bass and Disgust Electric Piano) for my TEG Theme that are scarcely used over the past 5 years? Yeah, I finally decided to use them in this remix for the sake of musical taste.
Composed by Matt Furniss - one of my big inspirations in composing music.

Hello, my SoundCloud followers. It's been two years since I last uploaded here. I figured that I had just enough upload time left in my free account to share this here. This is a sampler of songs I have been making for a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive homebrew since December 2023. The game is called Chords.

What is Chords?
This is a homebrew Genesis/Mega Drive game that's been in development since 2023 by Pixel Pusher Games. I was brought on to this project in December 2023 to make the songs for the game, and it has been a blast to do so the past year! The game is heavily inspired by Hideo Kojima's 1988 game Snatcher, developed and published by Konami. The only thing I will say about Chords is that it has a storyline that involves a band, artificial intelligence, and a talking robot cat.
