With a love for dance music of all colours and an instrumental upbringing playing in bands, Superlate's sound is as organic as it is fresh. 

Raised on the coast of Cornwall, UK, Superlate's coastal upbringing is unmissable in his music, which delivers beachside melodies with infectious grooves to match the hustle and bustle of the city he now calls home. Hints of classic 90s dance music, infectious pop, and disco in his music showcase his ability to seamlessly blend any influence into his own unique style, be it in his originals or remixes. His releases showcase his not only his production prowess, but also his songwriting ability, being either a co-writer or the sole songwriter on all of his records. 

But it's when Superlate takes the stage that the real magic happens. With his unique sets combining elements of DJ culture, live synths, guitars, and special guest vocalists, he brings a whole new level of energy to his already infectious sound. 

Jack Saunders of BBC Radio 1 hailed Superlate's debut single ‘Diamonds' as a “special track”, featuring the crisp textured vocals of RnB artist Immi Dash. He followed that up with 'Barbados', a massive collaboration with fellow multi-instrumentalist producer Youngr.
