MUTEK Montréal is a multi-venue celebration of digital creativity held in the city’s cultural heart. 

Each year, the festival devotes itself to platforming artists and thinkers working across electronic music, sound and visual arts, and invites them to come together in Canada’s second largest city for a sprawling six days of events.

Today, we’re presenting a two-part live mix series, recorded at the festival’s 24th edition earlier this year. Every bit of bright and vibrant as its accompanying artwork, this recording from scene staple Jennifer Cardini harnesses the energy of festival season and transports it direct to your speakers. 

"MUTEK was the highlight of my summer, the energy in that beautiful room was amazing and it was an absolute honour to be invited to share the stage with so many artists I love," says Cardini. "Hope you can feel that in this mix." Serious fun guaranteed.

Wannadosomething? was created by Gesine Kühne and Jakob Mandler for one reason in particular: to establish their genre BOSS DANCE! 
The two lovebirds show exactly what that is in their sets, in which they invite you on a musical journey through the galaxy. A galaxy where Italodisco, electro and new wave stars sparkle. By the way, wannadosomething? is only real with the question mark. Why? The two of them explain it best to you themselves. Wannadosomething? 

In the last three years, they performed at Clubs and Festivals like LAB.oratory, Watergate, ://aboutblank, Pangaea Festival, Feel Festival, Renate and Ritter Butzke to name just a few.
